Having Marketo Summit withdrawals or missed out entirely? You are not alone. For those who want to go back to the most awesome, jam-packed three days of the Marketo Marketing Nation Summit, here is a re-cap of the highlights in tweets.
The ‘Fun’ Run
For the fitness freaks in the Marketing Nation, the summit kicked off at 6:45am Monday. Extra points to the international attendees who did this 5K run still jet-lagged. With the great view of the sun rising at San Francisco, they didn’t mind.
This year, the Marketo Marketing Nation Summit was held at Moscone Center – West in San Francisco California, a truly impressive location. For three days, it served as a venue where marketers, resources, and ideas connected. Even the registration desk looked impressive!
Hillary Cliton Mania
Everyone was excited to see Hillary Clinton. You don’t get to witness the former Secretary of State give her thoughts on marketing every day. Even the Marketo executives had to tweet this selfie (Oscar’s style) before her keynote:
The first female President?
The question everyone wanted to know: will she run for president? No one noticed the Marketo CEO’s amazing purple sneakers! She ‘danced around’ it pretty well by saying, “I am flattered and I am honored and I am thinking about it, but I’m going to continue to think about it.”
There were official parties, unofficial parties, after-parties & after-after-parties. The best of them was held at the Exploratorium.
Who says science and alcohol don’t mix?
It wasn’t all party; there were many amazing sessions and speakers. Even Ann Handley, the queen of content, learnt a thing or two (and even four) and shared them using her tweet here:
Don’t forget the expo hall. It was buzzing with hundreds of Marketo partners featuring their finest tools that take marketing to the next level. There were giveaways galore!
By Wednesday, everyone was tired and hung-over. Three days of mind-sharing and partying had everyone missing home. When the Hoosh & Vidyard mascots got into a punch-up, it was definitely time to go!
